Socioeconomic aspects of renewable energies

In 2007 roughly 250,000 people worked in the sector of renewable energies. The boom in this sector both changes the labour market and has effects on social aspects such as education and acceptance. Education and qualification have to meet new or changed requirements, besides, it is necessary to integrate the topic into schools. After all, a basic requirement for the continuing expansion of renewable energies is acceptance both for the technology and its siting.
